- Define and manage Claims Finance transformation, ensuring it aligns with wider business strategy.
- Identifying and delivering process improvements, automation, and standardisation to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate across departments, including operations, Claims change teams and other FBP teams, to align change initiatives with broader organisational goals.
- Acting as a strategic partner to the Chief Claims Officer, Finance leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Building capability across Finance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Influencing and leading virtual teams across Finance, Claims, Actuarial, and Pricing.
- Setting KPIs and success measures to track performance improvements.
- Delivering tangible outcomes such as cost savings, efficiency gains, and stronger financial insights.
- Proven experience leading large-scale finance transformation or change programmes.
- Insurance industry experience, with a particular focus on claims being preferable
- Strong knowledge of finance processes (accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with credibility at senior level.
- Analytical problem-solver with the ability to design practical, effective solutions.
- Ability to clearly communicate financial insights to non-finance audiences
- Professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
- Experience in a shared services finance function.
