- Providing focused academic support in subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
- Delivering targeted one-to-one or small group intervention sessions to bridge learning gaps and extend high-achievers.
- Assisting in lesson planning and contributing to teaching delivery, with opportunities to lead segments over time.
- Supporting students with study skills, revision strategies, and exam preparation, particularly for GCSE and A-Level assessments.
- Developing your own teaching skills through mentorship and reflective practice in a real classroom setting.
- A 2:1 degree or higher in a STEM-related subject (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science).
- Strong subject knowledge and the confidence to support learners across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people succeed.
- Any prior experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is welcomed but not essential.
