Are you interested in supporting students at a Trafford based secondary school?A local, small secondary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support during this Autumn term and potentially ongoing thereafter for the remainder of the school year.This secondary school is situated in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester and is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start with them ASAP during the Autumn term. The successful teaching assistant will be required from appointment for the remainder of the academic year with potential to continue into the new year in September. This appointment will initially be via Teaching Personnel on a supply basis with the opportunity to progress onto a school-based contract from September onwards.The role of the teaching assistant at this small, family feel secondary school is to fulfil a full 360 degree role including supporting students in lessons, assisting any students who are identified as having SEN as well as working with students in small groups. The successfully appointed teaching assistant will be required to be adaptable, confident and motivated to succeed taking on the wide variety of positions.Key aspects of this teaching assistant role:
  • Full time teaching assistant required starting ASAP during the Autumn term for the reminder of the academic year
  • Pay will range between £1975 - £2000 per month
  • Hours likely to be 8 – 4pm each day
  • Potential to earn a 1 year fixed term contract for the successful teaching assistant progressing onto and earning a school based contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
