Now, we’re looking for a Principal Architect to help us build the future of FinOps.Your ImpactAs a Principal Software Architect for ITAM Solutions, you'll shape the architectural strategy behind our next-generation ITAM capabilities. This is a highly visible, hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll work across teams and products to align solution design with long-term business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with leadership, architects, and product teams to evaluate and select the best technical solutions, with a focus on strategic initiatives beyond the next quarter.You’ll lead efforts to unify data and user experiences across applications, drive architectural consistency through shared services and APIs, and help to embed AI capabilities that scale across the portfolio. This role also plays a critical part in improving developer experience, aligning platform and product concerns, and supporting enterprise-grade security and compliance. It’s a unique opportunity to influence the future of our applications and drive improvements in how we build, integrate, and evolve technology across the organization.What You’ll Do
  • Design and evolve scalable, resilient, and maintainable architecture for solutions in the IT asset management and SaaS management space.
  • Lead solution design during product discovery, translating business goals into scalable technical blueprints.
  • Drive cross-product architectural strategy, working closely with product architects to identify opportunities to build shared services and components that provide value across multiple products.
  • Collaborate across solution areas to ensure platform services support both product needs and broader platform strategy.
  • Ensure architectural alignment across engineering teams, championing consistency and high standards in system design.
  • Partner with product management, security, and engineering teams to ensure architectural decisions support business goals.
  • Author and maintain architectural documentation to guide implementation and facilitate cross-team understanding.
  • Create proof-of-concepts and reference implementations to validate new patterns or technologies.
  • Promote innovation and operational excellence, helping teams navigate trade-offs between performance, scalability, and time-to-market.
Who You Are
  • Experienced systems thinker with 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in an architecture role.
  • Broad exposure across domains and technology layers, providing technical leadership to large-scale implementation efforts.
  • Able to align technical decisions with business context, balancing technical excellence with pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with platform engineering teams to align application needs with shared infrastructure and services.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure a plus), big data platforms (Databricks), and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Experience developing and architecting both cloud-native and traditional monolithic applications.
  • Effective at influencing at the leadership level, clearly communicating architectural vision and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled at partnering with diverse engineering teams through collaborative and empathetic communication.
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and driving architectural evolution in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Committed to mentoring engineers and architects, helping grow technical leadership across the organization.
