Responsibilities
- Summarise and categorise appeals for the COMPASS database so that clients can find appeals that are relevant to them. This involves coding appeals with details such as the type of development, issues raised, appeal procedure type etc.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
- We are ideally seeking candidates with a planning qualification and a minimum of one year of experience in development management but graduates in geography, social sciences or related subjects are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to pursue RTPI membership, launch a planning career, or leverage your existing expertise on products used by thousands.
- We would also like to hear from those without a planning qualification but who have worked in a town planning environment and have experience in writing reports, application/appeal statements or documents for public consumption.
- An excellent understanding of current planning issues
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and adhere to internal style standards is essential for this position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good analytical and project management skills
- Be a self-starter, keen to take on responsibility for the output of our products
- Be a team player who works well with other colleagues
- Have an interest in working in the media industry
- Act as an ambassador for the brands
