Affinity Water have a new and exciting job opportunity available to become an Enforcement Administrator in our Enforcement Team.The Role:Three months ago, we launched a dedicated Enforcement Team to investigate unauthorised connections on our network and stop offenders who access our water supply illegally. Despite being newly formed, the team has already made a meaningful difference by helping recover much-needed revenue and protecting millions of litres of water from misuse and contamination.We're now looking for a motivated Enforcement Administrator to join this new and growing team. You'll play a key role in conducting desk-based investigations, managing data, and supporting the preparation of enforcement case files. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something at its foundation-shaping the way we tackle water misuse across our network.What you'll be doing:
  • Translate findings into structured intelligence packs using Microsoft Systems, ready for investigators and decision makers.
  • Perform reactive and proactive research on properties and developers using internal systems and open-source platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, developers, members of the public, and field technicians.
  • Collaborate closely with the Enforcement Manager and support investigators in organising and tracking jobs.
  • Raise and manage site visits with Customer Service Technicians and Network Regulations inspectors and oversee the investigators diaries.
What you'll need:
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, with strong command of SharePoint and Office tools.
  • Sharp research abilities with the agility to work under time pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills to link planning permissions, billing history, and landscape changes.
  • Respectful handling of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Water Industry knowledge would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • UK Driving Licence.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (salary dependant on skills and experience)
  • Hours: 08:00am - 16:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:00am - 15:30pm (Friday)
