What you’ll do:
  • Work closely with finance users to identify and resolve issues across M3 CloudSuite, Basware, and Tagetik, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of financial data
  • Manage incidents and problems, implementing permanent solutions to recurring issues and suboptimal workarounds
  • Represent the team in major incident and operational meetings, providing updates on finance-related system issues
  • Adhere to change management and security protocols to protect the production environment and maintain compliance
  • Identify and implement opportunities for system improvement, with a focus on automation and AI integration
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and review documentation for potential impacts
  • Provide technical support and expertise to system users, and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices
  • Ensure financial systems support compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree qualification desirable; part-qualified finance certification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS) preferred
  • Experience across operational finance processes including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in performance tuning and optimisation
  • Familiarity with financial reporting regulations and system optimisation best practices
  • Experience working in customer-focused environments and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and drive change through to completion
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a history of becoming a subject matter expert
  • Experience with process automation tooling preferred
