Their mission is simple: to innovate and deliver top-quality products that meet the needs of their leading retail brands.They are seeking a highly skilled and detailed orientated Technical Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Technical you will oversee all technical aspects of food production and compliance.What's in it for You:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all technical aspects of factory production, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, legal standards, and customer requirements.
  • Lead and manage the technical team, including training, audits, and fostering a strong culture of food safety, quality, and integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with NPD, Operations, Sales, and other technical functions to deliver continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through site visits, audits, and regular communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site and technical department, promoting best practices and staff engagement.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Degree in Food Science or a related technical field
  • Proven technical management experience with solid understanding of QA processes
  • In depth working knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards and other food safety management systems
  • Experience dealing with major retailers
  • Strong grasp of food safety principles and regulatory compliance
  • Strong problem solving and adaptability in fast paced environments
Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't!)
  • Background in High Care/High Risk food manufacturing
  • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification
  • Familiarity with retailer specific standards
  • HACCP Level 4
