- Analyse and interpret performance data weekly, assessing actual results against budget and volume-adjusted forecasts.
- Lead a small team of finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the designated cost centre.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the budgeting process and half-yearly forecasts.
- Play an active role in periodic reviews, scrutinizing costs and promoting initiatives for productivity enhancement.
- Evaluate and challenge commercial proposals, identifying associated risks and opportunities in relation to the budget.
- Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the potential effects of operational and productivity changes on costs and service levels.
- Contribute to the development of short, medium, and long-term cost forecasts, understanding how current trading and operational performance impact budgeted costs.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, preferably within a relevant sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
