Our Public Sector Client, based at HMCTS Norwich Combined Court, is looking for an Admin Officer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis.As a vital member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the court and its day-to-day administrative functions. In addition to the Admin Officer duties, you will also be trained as a Deputy Jury Officer. This will involve supporting the jury management process, assisting jurors during their service, and ensuring court procedures involving juries are carried out efficiently and professionally.Key Responsibilities:
- Progress cases through the Court/Tribunal system and provide support to other HMCTS functions
- Refer to problem-solving hubs and use comprehensive guidelines
- Input data accurately onto internal systems
- Strong customer focus and service delivery
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Prepare papers and case documentation
- Create and update records
- Email correspondence
- General administrative duties
- Book, prepare, and organise meeting rooms
- Ability to respond quickly and professionally when needed
- Assist with jury management tasks as a Deputy Jury Officer
- Previous experience in administration
- Confident using Microsoft platforms and managing inboxes
