This role will focus on managing the Gatwick Framework account, working collaboratively with the BakerHicks Aviation Sector team, the Director of Aviation, and the wider BakerHicks group.You will be responsible for overseeing the Gatwick Design Framework and identifying new opportunities with other partners at the airport.This role will be based onsite at the client office at Gatwick Airport for three days a week, with occasional meetings, at a BakerHicks office, as needed.Key Objectives

- By understanding the unique requirements, standards, and ways of working at the airport, you will work to uphold high standards and professionalism on behalf of BakerHicks.
- Apply forward-thinking and innovative solutions in contributing to the development of the Aviation Sector
- Support the Aviation Sector Director in developing and overseeing the BD/Sales strategy for the business.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients at all levels to create a sustainable pipeline of work at Gatwick Airport and beyond, where applicable.
- Manage project resourcing, coordinating delivery teams and Project Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, leading client engagements within the Aviation Sector.
- Oversee and advise on the production of bids, tenders, and offers, providing strategic input on competitive positioning, client value propositions, win themes, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning. Collaborate with the bid team to craft compelling business-winning proposals.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant technical or Operational discipline.
- Chartered with a professional body would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in project delivery within the construction industry with an engineering consultancy/contractor, in a technical role.
- Strong preference for experience in the Aviation industry, preferably at Gatwick Airport
- Understanding of the stages of design for all core disciplines
- Demonstrable experience in business development and account management within a consultancy environment.
