This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils in developing critical digital skills and a strong understanding of computing concepts.As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Encouraging problem-solving, programming, and computational thinking skills.
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to tailor learning approaches.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external partners to support pupil development.
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level or equivalent.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be passionate about technology and committed to student success.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
