- Work closely with students on a one-to-one and small group basis, helping them access the curriculum and manage their emotions and behaviours.
- Support their personal development by promoting social skills, resilience, and emotional regulation.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and daily classroom routines.
- Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students, helping them reach age-appropriate milestones both academically and emotionally.
- Be part of a collaborative, supportive team focused on therapeutic and educational progress.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
- Calm, compassionate, adaptable, and confident in building positive relationships.
- Previous experience with children or young people (e.g., in a school, youth work, care, volunteering) is a bonus - but not essential.
- Gain practical experience highly relevant to careers in psychology, therapy, teaching, or social work.
- Work in a school with small class sizes and an experienced, nurturing staff team.
