- Manage and nurture a portfolio of small business accounts, ensuring regular contact and relationship building.
- Drive growth through upselling, cross-selling, and tailored product recommendations.
- Identify and engage new business prospects within your target market.
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads, converting them into active customers via calls, outreach, and occasional visits.
- Attend industry events to network and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular activity and performance reports.
- Meet key targets, including:
- Sales Growth: 10% year-on-year volume increase across your portfolio.
- Conversion: Defined number of prospects converted each month.
- Customer Contact: Every account contacted at least once per quarter.
- Sales Activity: Minimum of 30+ proactive customer interactions per week.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally B2B.
- Strong communication skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.
- Confident in outbound sales techniques and prospecting calls.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to spot opportunities and add value.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar).
