- As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day supervision of your team, ensuring correct picking, despatch, and delivery of products all within expected planned cost and time frames. You will ensureKPI’s and objectives are being met by planning and coordinating the picking and despatch times within your team as well as implementing the company‘s health & safety policy and carrying out health & safety audits as expected.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of products and services within your area is maintained to the highest standards by completing quality inspections in a timely manner and assisting with the preparation of external quality audits.
- You will have the overall responsibility for all aspects of training & development, health, safety, and welfare of your team. Providing strong leadership and mentoring, making sure training and development is structured and planned effectively to maximise team members skills.
- With an eye for continuous improvement, you will continually review and report on resource requirements in line with business plans / new products including staffing levels, training, machinery, and equipment requirements etc.
- You will have a minimum of 1 years in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to motivate your team
- Strong Organisational skills
