This is a hands-on role, combining team supervision with day-to-day loading activity. You'll ensure safe, efficient loading and offloading, lead a team of loaders, and uphold safety and quality standards. In this role you will be operating a counterbalance truck, alongside some supervisory duties.Why Join Us?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and participate in loading operations to ensure timely, accurate dispatch.
  • Operate a Counterbalance FLT to support loading/offloading when required.
  • Coordinate, train and motivate a team of loaders.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and site procedures; prevent accidents and damage.
  • Troubleshoot issues (delays, inventory errors, equipment faults) and escalate as needed.
  • Report on loading performance, efficiency metrics and any safety incidents.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure goods are in suitable condition before loading.
  • Support Goods-In with offloading inbound vehicles.
What We're Looking For:
  • Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR-accredited preferred) - essential.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse/logistics supervisory role.
  • Confident operating counterbalance FLT in a busy loading environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisation skills.
  • Solid understanding of H&S and best practice in warehousing.
  • Calm under pressure, detail-focused and able to multitask.
