In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. - Efficient Goods Handling: Using our warehouse system and scanner to receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods with care and precision.
- Team Leadership: Leading a team of operatives, solving day-to-day challenges, and escalating issues when needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Carrying out checks on equipment, MHE, and team members to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Stock Management: Loading/unloading orders, replenishing stock, and consolidating inventory as required.
- Operational Excellence: Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- A Pivot / Ride-on PPT licence is desirable – but don’t worry if you don’t have one, full training will be provided.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to doing things right.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Competitive Salary: £29,026.40! Overtime available!
- Hours: 08:00hrs to 20:00hrs, based on 4on 4off rota!
