This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive environment.The RoleWe are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs. In this role, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support, helping each child reach their full potential. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support for children with SENAdapt learning resources and strategies to meet individual needsAssist in planning and delivering targeted interventionsSupport the class teacher with general classroom dutiesPromote a positive, inclusive environment and encourage pupil engagementHelp manage classroom behaviour and support emotional regulationSupport children with additional needs during break times and off-site activitiesMinimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:Experience:At least 1 year of experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care-based settingQualifications:A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essentialSkills:A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsPatience, empathy, and a calm, proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAdaptability to respond to varying needs and behavioursDBS Check:All applicants must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check (Child & Adult Workforce).
