
Senior Forecast Manager

- Maintain the parcel forecast for the next 12 months, and be responsible for the KPI of Forecast Accuracy
- Be the main Network point of contact for new retailer Go Lives, co-ordinating with the Commercial team
- Lead the roadmap for the development of the forecast - as we get more complex with more service offerings, new retailers and more service points.
- Provide detailed scenario analysis to enable a wide range of business planning activities
- Monitor key metrics and proactively flag anything required to the Capacity Manager to prevent capacity bottlenecks. Work with key stakeholders to provide key inputs for network-wide decision-making.
- Work with the Strategy and Expansion team on planning for new city launches
- Strong mathematical ability, capable of analysing data and applying it to real-world operations.
- Comfortable working with detailed data analysis and future thinking activities, while also being able to handle day-to-day support activities for the operation, seamlessly switching between these tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data tools for analysis and planning.
- Detail-oriented, with a structured approach to forecasting. You are able to spot patterns in noisy data and insightful enough to be able to apply real-world explanations to them.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing demands.
- A team player, able to collaborate across multiple functions. You build strong relationships that enable respectful challenging conversations
- Background in forecasting in a fast moving environment, with 5+ years experience. You understand forecasting best practice and are comfortable demonstrating high professional standards.
- Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data analysis tools beyond Excel (e.g. SQL, Python, or Power BI).
- Background in operations, engineering, or a highly analytical role.
