Hours: Mon-Thu, 7:15am-5:00pm (37 hrs, onsite full time)About the RoleWe are seeking a Training Coordinator to join our defence client, BAE Systems, in Glascoed. This is a maternity cover position with responsibility for managing training documentation, coordinating sessions across multiple functions, and ensuring attendance and compliance.This role is central to supporting the business by keeping training records accurate, scheduling and facilitating classroom sessions, and liaising with stakeholders to make sure teams remain fully trained and compliant.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update training records and documentation accurately.Coordinate training sessions across different functions, ensuring attendance and completion.Schedule and facilitate classroom-based training sessions, acting as the main point of contact.Liaise with managers and team leaders to identify training needs and priorities.Provide strong administrative support, managing schedules and reporting on progress.Use Excel to manage records, analyse data, and prepare reports.Support the wider Training Manager and team with day-to-day coordination activities.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a training coordination, administration, or scheduling role.Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.Confident with Excel (data entry, reporting, tracking).Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with colleagues across multiple functions.Experience facilitating training sessions or coordinating group activities.Adaptable and resilient, able to work in a busy operational environment.Desirable BackgroundsThis role would suit someone with either a structured operational background or experience managing complex people-focused environments.
