Security Clearance: SC and Sole UK National requestedSpinwell is recruiting for a EO Caseworker for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EO CASEWORKER
- Decision-Making: Make informed and sound decisions in line with relevant SOI's and SOP's, seeking guidance from colleagues and senior team members when necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Data Protection: Handle sensitive and personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2015, ensuring privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Query Management: Respond promptly and respectfully to queries, demonstrating empathy and identifying if translation or interpretation is required to support applicants more effectively.
- Documentation Analysis: Analyse documentation provided by applicants carefully, requesting additional information or clarification from various stakeholders when needed to make informed decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to support DARR priorities, ensuring cooperation and alignment of goals.
- Correspondence and Record-Keeping: Correspond with applicants in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and detailed records, including case notes, emails, and documents submitted by applicants to support their cases.
- Casework Data Management: Ensure that casework data is accurate and up-to-date, supporting team-wide uses such as reporting, discussions on flow rates, and resource projections.
- Adherence to Governance:Follow governance protocols to maintain consistency, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of case handling and decision-making processes.
- Strong IT skills:
- MS 365
- MS Teams
- Excel
- Word
- Spreadsheets
- SharePoint
- Caseworker experience/Admin experience in case working roles.
- Attention to detail
- Public sector experience such as Home Office, DWP, possibly HMRC where casework is done.
- A natural professional curiosity
