Job DescriptionCANDIDATES SHOULD BE BASED IN THE SOUTH WALES/SOUTH WEST ENGLAND AREA.Field Sales Representative - AbrasivesLocation - South Wales and South West EnglandPermanentSalary - £60,000 total planned income, inclusive of bonusMy client are a global manufacturer with a long standing reputation as a company committed to innovation. They are now looking for a Field Sales Representative to join their team in the South Wales and South West England area.Your responsibilities in the role
  • Support our end user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market leading productivity savings and safety improvements with company abrasive products
  • Meet & exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by increasing market share through competitive new end user conversions
  • Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities and close win these opportunities as required under sales plan.
  • Utilise the Customer Relationship Database (accounts, activities, opportunities, profiles, contacts) as a territory management and sales planning tool
  • Find and develop new end users increasing end user loyalty to company Abrasive products across the territory by using abrasive product, application and process knowledge
  • Develop close working relationships with the territory channel partner Sales Reps built on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support.
  • Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace.
Skills and Experience
  • Good standard of education
  • Good negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to build relationships and operate in a complex organisation
  • Strong communication, questioning and listening skills
  • Strong persuasive influencing skills
  • Organised with ability to work with others and alone to deadlines
  • IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. SF.com
  • Pro-active, driven, results focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets
  • Tenacious and resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective
  • Capable of grasping technical concepts within abrasive products an selling/demonstrating these in an industrial manufacturing environment
