Job Title: Machine Operator- NightsLocation: DursleyPay Range/details: £15.20- £16.86 per hour (depeding on department)Contract Type: Temporary to permanentA leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their growing team. The position is full time on night shift and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.About the Role:The successful candidate will join the weaving or yarn department, operating high-speed machines and ensuring all products meet pre-determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high-quality textile production.Shift PatternMonday- Thursday 22:00- 06:00, Friday 20:00- 03:00Sunday 23:00- 06:00, Monday to Thursday 22:00- 06:00Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
  • Operate and manage a variety of high-speed machines
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
  • Log and report any issues with sub-standard products or machinery
  • Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
  • Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast-paced setting
Candidate Requirements – Machine Operator
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Organised, proactive and able to work efficiently under time pressures
