Salary: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only – Temp to Perm OpportunityAbout the Role:An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Abbots Langley is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil with identified speech and language needs.Starting in September 2025, this full-time role involves working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals to deliver tailored, targeted support. For the right candidate, there is a strong potential for a permanent placement.You’ll play a vital role in helping the child access the curriculum, develop communication skills, and build confidence socially and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with speech and language difficultiesDeliver structured interventions guided by speech and language therapy plansTrack progress and adapt strategies to suit the pupil’s evolving needsCollaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement and review EHCP targetsOffer additional support during playtime, lunchtime, and transitionsPromote inclusion, confidence, and a love of learningAbout the School:This is a vibrant and community-focused primary school in Abbots Langley, known for its inclusive ethos and commitment to the wellbeing of every child.
