CNC Machine Operator I Competitive Salary I Full-TimeJob Title: CNC Machine Setter/ OperatorJob Type: Full-time / PermanentSalary: Competitive, based on experienceHours: 40.5 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Monday - Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 15.00We are looking for experienced CNC Lathe/Milling machine setter / operator to join our manufacturing team.You will be working with various CNC controls and machines to manufacture precision parts both low and hi volume to a high-quality standard while maintaining the company's Heath & Safety requirements.About the roleKey ResponsibilitiesProgram, set or operate CNC lathes and milling machinesAssist with selection of appropriate tooling including cutting data to achieve optimal cycle timesInterpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision componentsInspect and verify finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met using various measuring equipmentMachine low and hi volume parts with a focus on accuracyTroubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvementMaintain production outputs & demands whilst keeping quality recordsCarry out routine preventative maintenanceAssist cross training with fellow employeesAdhere to all health and safety requirementsWhat we OfferEarly finish on a FridayCompetitive pay and overtime opportunitiesNo shift working30 days holidays per yearHealth care schemeCompany pensionTO APPLYPlease submit your CV detailing how you meet the criteria outlined in the description.Caledon Engineering Ltd. are an equal opportunities employer.   • Minimum of 1 years proven experience in CNC turning and / or milling both operating and setting.
  • Proficient in reading detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience working with large and small size components.
  • Strong problem solving & organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime should need arise.
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations
Desired Criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
