Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualificationsProspero Teaching is currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join a forward-thinking school starting on 1st September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a teaching-focused role supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) across the school.As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to plan and deliver targeted interventions, both individually and in small groups. You will also provide guidance to staff on effective communication strategies and contribute to the development of inclusive classroom practices.Key Responsibilities:Assess students speech and language needs and develop tailored support plans
Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor progress
Collaborate with staff and parents to support communication development
Contribute to EHCPs and other documentation as needed
Promote inclusive communication strategies within the classroom environment
Requirements:Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
Excellent communication and organisational skills
