⭐**Senior IFRS 17 Technical Group Accountant opportunity with significant working from home **⭐⭐Sponsorship Offered⭐London (with working from home)£75-90,000 plus 10-20% bonus and extensive benefits.Grafton Banks Finance is looking for an IFRS 17 specialist for a well-known and respected insurance company. This established team seeks a Qualified Accountant (ACA) with deep IFRS17 accounting policy knowledge and experience, who enjoys being a technical accounting advisor and has a strong grasp of IFRS 17 Accounting standards, especially in relation to improving IFRS 17 Financial Reporting within a business. You will joining an experienced team of accountants.Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you'll take responsibility for the following:
  • Provide IFRS 17 technical accounting advice
  • Consider the accounting implications of transactions
  • Supporting technical IFRS17 accounting projects including consultation with other teams throughout the Group and preparation of IFRS 17 technical accounting memos and discussion paper.
  • Hold responsibility for multiple IFRS17 improvement projects
The successful candidate:
  • Top 10 trained ACA with insurance clients and deep IFRS 17 knowledge.
  • Or part of an accounting policy team of a UK publicly listed company
  • Must have experience drafting memos for IFRS 17 and Day 2 improvement projects for IFRS 17 financial reporting.
