Hours: 15 hours per weekUnited Response are seeking two part-time motivated and compassionate Support Workers to join our day services team. These part-time roles involve delivering a range of engaging, pre-planned group activities and providing one-to-one support to individuals in the community.Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that’s travelling the world or spending time in their local park! All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.About the RoleThe successful candidates will play a key role in supporting individuals to build confidence, develop skills, and enhance their wellbeing through structured activities and personalised support.Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate small group sessions within the day service setting
  • Deliver pre-planned activities including:
  • Health and wellbeing groups
  • Cooking sessions
  • Arts and crafts
  • Media production
  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals in line with their personal goals and needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a support or care-related role (desirable)
  • A person-centred approach with strong communication skills
  • Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
