Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning plans and strategies
  • Providing academic support and encouragement to help students reach their full potential
  • Facilitating social interactions and promoting the development of communication skills
  • Offering emotional support and promoting positive behaviour management techniques
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers

  • Be focused on working with children and young people with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • The ability to adapt to individual student needs and learning styles
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with ASD (desirable)
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special needs support (desirable)
