We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming primary school in Maldon from September.This is a brilliant opportunity if you love making a difference in children’s lives and want to be part of a supportive school community. You’ll be working on a 1:1 basis, helping the child to learn, grow, and enjoy their school experience.Every day is different, and your role will be vital in making learning fun, accessible, and engaging.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting a child on a 1:1 basis, helping them with their learning and development.Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to put support strategies in place.Creating a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment.Celebrating small steps of progress and helping the child feel valued every day.What We’re Looking For✅ Experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, or similar).
✅ A patient, positive, and proactive attitude.
✅ Understanding of SEN or a willingness to learn.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
