  • Manage day-to-day materials requirement planning (MRP) for factory.
  • Provide weekly forecasts to supplier, to ensure long term coverage of production requirements.
  • Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure timely delivery for production.
  • Work together with central procurement teams ensuring that the team meets budget goals and deadline deliverables.
  • Work with central NPD team to minimise write-off cost during specification changes.
  • Ensure goods receipt quantities match invoices and investigate to completion any discrepancies.
  • Support with preparation of production plans to ensure they are provided in sufficient time to meet production demands.
  • Manage incoming supply of dry goods material stock against the requirements for production and make adjustments as required.
  • Support the departmental cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support Key Performance Metrics.
  • Communicate any potential production issues or needs to the relevant Manager
  • Maintain system procedures with accurate data.
  • Maintain master data accuracy within MRP.
  • Create quality complaint record in SAP for group procurement visibility.
  • Monitor and maintain Danish Crown standards.
  • Follow written and oral instructions and standard procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Promote, educate, communicate, and follow up on approved safety initiatives.
  • Maintain housekeeping in area.
Job Requirements
  • Substantial experience in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing etc is required.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 software and SAP ERP systems.
  • Experience or developing influential relationships and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Management of planning in a large-scale manufacturing site, ideally in the food industry
  • Knowledge of relevant food and manufacturing legislation.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Some weekend cover may be required if business needs arise.
