We work closely with the PDSA, a special organisation that provides expert care for people and their pets across the UK! Their Pet Hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Vet Surgeon to join them full-time!
  • Salary up to £58,312 (including allowances) per annum.
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Flexible working options available regarding hours and shifts.
  • Large team allows for flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out of hours required (with enhanced pay and stand down time when a weekend is worked).
They are looking for a qualified vet, who is up for a challenge and able to adapt to the wide variety of cases they see at the PDSA. Confidence in communication with a range of colleagues and clients is essential as is willingness to share skills and lead by example.The right candidate will be passionate about their role and will drive you to champion the charity, promote client contributions and always keep an eye on resources suggesting efficiencies wherever possible.The work is fast-paced and challenging so they like to ensure you can achieve the work-life balance that suits your needs, as well as enabling them to deliver an outstanding service.Their team consists of veterinarians with varied clinical interests, which means you will have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience with which to discuss cases and plan treatment.All Hospitals are modern and well-equipped, including separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
