- Collaborate with the sales team: Work closely with sales representatives to understand customer requirements, develop positioning strategies, and deliver compelling customer presentations and negotiations.
- Conduct product demonstrations: Deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept, clearly explaining how SymphonyAI solutions address customer challenges and drive value.
- Value Engineering: Partner with the Value Engineering team to define and present the ROI and strategic benefits of SymphonyAI solutions to potential clients.
- Analyse customer needs: Assess business processes, workflows, and technical infrastructure to tailor product offerings and recommend optimal configurations and integrations.
- Support RFPs: Contribute to Requests for Proposal by providing accurate, comprehensive product and industry knowledge.
- Build customer relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, leveraging your technical and industry credibility to address pain points and build long-term rapport.
- Stay ahead of trends: Continuously update your expertise in supply chain technology, ERP and WMS platforms, competitor offerings, and emerging industry trends.
- Internal collaboration: Work with product management, engineering, and professional services to relay customer feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.
- Enable sales: Assist in developing sales collateral, documentation, and training materials to empower sales teams.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Strategic involvement: As a Director, contribute to strategic solution positioning, support sales and marketing collateral creation, set up demo/pilot environments, and represent SymphonyAI at internal/external events.
- Leadership: Potential for people management responsibilities.
- Demonstrable expertise as a user, software supplier, or consultant in:
- Demand forecasting
- Inventory replenishment
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Master Data Management
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Category management practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (desirable)
- 7+ years’ experience in supply chain technology presales or consulting
- Advanced understanding of supply chain technologies, processes, and enterprise software solutions
- Experience with major ERP/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with proven technical credibility and customer-centric approach
- Strong analytical and solution design capabilities
