Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with an international design consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer for its Glasgow site.The strategically important Senior Civil Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £65,000 pension, flexible working and a car allowance on top.If you’re a Senior Civil Engineer or experienced Civil Engineer and are looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Civil Engineer roleReporting to the Head of Civil Engineering you will:

Review civil works
Complete Civil Design works including Earthworks, Drainage, Access Roads and potentially a small amount of Structural work
Communicate with external contractors on site
Offer support and guidance to junior engineers in the team

Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:

A degree in Civil Engineering or similar (HND or higher is considered)
5 years’ experience postgraduate
Ideally experience working within a Renewable Energy position

Personal skillsThe Senior Civil Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Passionate about Renewable Energy
Driving to succeed and likes working as a team
Willingness to be able to travel around the UK / Ireland, should you be needed to
