  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum through play-based learning and structured activities
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and confidence
  • Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and language development through engaging and interactive methods
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to help children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s individual learning journey
  • Contribute to the wider school community through EYFS events, celebrations, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or reception class)
  • Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (desirable)
  • Be a patient, compassionate, and adaptable team player
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and inclusive education
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be passionate about early learning, creative play, and supporting every child to shine
