Support Worker Wanted with full UK drivers licence - Empower Independence in SolihullAre you a kind, proactive support worker who's passionate about making a real difference? We're seeking a support worker to join the care team of a thoughtful, bright male client based in Solihull.He lives with Cerebral Palsy, sometimes unsteady and will use a walking stick. He currently lives with his parents but is working towards moving into his own home. Your support will play a key role in helping him achieve this next stage of independence.About the ClientOur client is curious, cultured, and enjoys staying active. He's passionate about:
  • Reading and learning
  • Cinema, museums, and art galleries
  • Physiotherapy and gym sessions
  • Walks outdoors and spending time in the community
  • Travelling abroad with family
He's looking for someone who shares (or is open to) these interests, and who can bring encouragement, motivation, and a warm presence into his daily routine.Your Role:
  • Support with physiotherapy exercises, gym visits, and outdoor walks
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and fall prevention
  • Join him on cultural outings and family holidays
  • Full UK Drivers licence to drive the clients vehicle
  • Help with meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Encourage independence while providing reliable support
  • Be part of his journey toward independent living
When you'll be working:
  • We are looking for a regular team to work permanently with our client
  • 8am -6:30pm
  • Monday - Sunday available
  • Full time or part time available
About You:
  • Compassionate, patient, and supportive
  • Interested in reading, culture, and helping others thrive
  • Comfortable with both practical care and emotional support
  • Reliable and respectful of professional boundaries
