Machine Operative, Rotherham

- Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am rotating shifts (37 hrs per week) - must be able to work all 3 shifts
- Between £29,985-£32,663 depending on experience
- Regular overtime available
- Permanent contract

- Onsite fully equipped kitchen with vending machines
- Set and operate various machines associated with the manufacturing process
- Collection and quality checking of materials to be used in the production process
- Routine machine checks and maintenance tasks
- Accurately record information relating to scrap, downtime, and machine issues
- Manual production and packing operations including preparing orders for despatch
- Quality checking finished products
- Various other duties as and when required
- Completion of all relevant safety and quality checks on process and product in accordance with company standards
- Previous experience of working in a production / fast paced manufacturing environment would be an advantage (grinding, CNC, press machines)
- Machine setting experience
- Some level of mechanical engineering apprenticeship preferred but not essential
- Forklift truck licence would be beneficial
- Must be numerate and literate
- Have a knowledge and understanding of shop orders
- Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines
