A Maintenance Technician opportunity has opened up within a precision engineering company. This is a facility which offers a great work / life balance as well as a great team of skilled Engineers to work with. The hours of work on this position are 7.30am -16.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 07.30am - 12.30pm on Fridays. The salary on offer is between £36,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.Maintenance Technician key responsibilities:
  • Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults as needed.
  • Keep manufacturing management regularly informed on progress.
  • Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently.
  • Follow company health and safety policies
  • Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Maintenance Technician desired skills and experience:
  • Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications (Level 3 in Engineering and/or higher)
