Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a wonderful charity to recruit for a Senior Sports and Community Manager to cover maternity leave for 12 months.In this role, you'll lead a high performing team and oversee the delivery of a multi million pound portfolio of mass participation events and community fundraising activity. You'll drive strategy, grow income, nurture supporter relationships, and help develop a sector leading supporter experience.As Senior Sports and Community Manager you will:Lead the delivery and development of the Sports and Community fundraising strategyOversee a diverse portfolio of events and initiatives, maximising ROI and supporter engagementManage high-value supporter relationships and maintain excellent stewardshipUse audience insights to inform and evolve campaignsEnsure high quality collaboration across internal teams to enhance supporter journeysMonitor performance, report on KPIs, and identify areas for improvementUse Salesforce to track, analyse and improve fundraising operationsManage and support two direct reports and oversee the wider fundraising teamOversee income targets of £5m+To be successful, you must be a confident relationship builder and strategic thinker, and have:Proven experience managing fundraising teamsStrong track record of meeting or exceeding income targetsExperience delivering large scale sports or mass participation eventsBudget management skills, including multi million pound accountsExcellent project and stakeholder management skillsSalary: £43,000- £48,000Location: London, hybrid working , 3 days in the officeContract: 12 months FTCClosing date: on rolling basisInterview: TBCRecruitment process: CV and supporting statement toIf this sounds like you, then please do get in touch ASAP!Unfortunately, due to resource capacity, we will only contact candidates that are shortlisted for interview.
