This is a fantastic opportunity to engage learners in creative expression, visual literacy, and design, helping them build confidence and skills across various artistic mediums.Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons that meet the national curriculum.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking in students.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-level coursework and examinations.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively.
- Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art curriculum and school displays.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching Art at Key Stages is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of different art techniques and digital design tools is advantageous.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
