Patient Flow Coordinator. Band 7 AFCSubstantive post 15 hours per week.The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our Maternity service as an Patient Flow Coordinator. They will work with the clinical teams to facilitate appropriate timely admission, transfer and discharge of across the maternity pathways.The post holder will need to have demonstrable knowledge skills and experience in maternity services to facilitate and prioritise patient flow across the inpatient services.   • Degree in Midwifery

  • Masters Degree or Working towards Masters level qualification.

  • Evidence of continuing professional education and development.
  • Experience in all aspects of maternity care.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing self and others and changing practice.
  • Recent demonstrable experience of supporting women and families
Desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of national patient safety agenda and NHS England and CQC priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be responsive to emotive conversations.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating exemplary skills in maternity care.
