- Lead and manage multiple technical accounting and transaction advisory engagements across sectors, with a focus on IFRS.
- Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters including IFRS 3 (Business Combinations), IFRS 15 (Revenue), IFRS 2 (Share-Based Payments), IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), IFRS 10/11 (Consolidation and Joint Arrangements) and FRS 102.
- GAAP conversions, carve-outs, and other capital markets transactions.
- Oversee the preparation and review of technical accounting papers, financial statement disclosures, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., tax, valuation, FDD) to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and Boards.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing, client pitches, and thought leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting advisory, with a strong focus on IFRS technical accounting. US GAAP knowledge beneficial but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A transactions, purchase price allocations, and financial due diligence.
- Internal/external buisness development experience.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex accounting concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in use of AI tools desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience working in diverse, cross-border teams.
