Full-time, Fixed Term for one yearClosing date: 23:59 on 11 September 2025The School of the Built Environment is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer to enhance teaching capability in the area of Building Services, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Teaching responsibilities will include core contributions to the School's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specifically including the MEng/BEng in Architectural Engineering. The appointment will complement areas of existing strength in other aspects of energy, sustainability, engineering applications and systems within the built environment.The successful candidate will have:
  • a Doctorate in an engineering discipline or related area (Relevant postgraduate degree with significant industry experience would also be considered)
  • skills for developing and delivering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics and building services within the built environment context
