Are you ready to inspire the next generation of construction professionals? We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Built Environment to join our dynamic Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of T Level construction courses and help shape the future of the built environment sector.About the RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of further and higher education programmes, with a focus on T Level construction. The role includes curriculum development, assessment, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.Actual Salary: £13, 727.32 - £17,375.49 per annumWorking Pattern: Wednesday & Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm (15 hours per week)Essential Criteria
  • HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management or relevant industry experience.
  • A demonstratable experience in a lecturing or training role within Further or Higher Education.
  • Strong subject expertise to enhance the quality of taught programmes.
  • Knowledge and experience of innovative learning and teaching techniques.
  • Understanding of education/training initiatives and ability to use ICT as a teaching tool
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons and assess student work across Built Environment programmes.
  • Develop curriculum materials and contribute to subject area development.
  • Coordinate course teams and support the day-to-day running of programmes.
  • Support learners through mentoring, guidance, and individualised learning plans.
  • Participate in course verification, quality assurance, and departmental planning.
  • Recruit and enrol students, meeting enrolment targets.
  • Undertake professional development and contribute to the College’s appraisal system.
