Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualificationsAn outstanding independent school is seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Teacher to cover maternity leave starting in October/November. This full-time role will involve teaching across Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on leading English within the department.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS2
- Lead English planning and curriculum development within the team
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and support pupil progress and wellbeing
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally with English subject leadership
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
