We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support a construction project within a live manufacturing environment. This role will be site-based, five days per week in Burton-on-Trent, providing advisory support to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on all health & safety matters during the construction phase
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company procedures
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, providing practical recommendations
  • Engage with contractors, site teams, and management to promote a positive safety culture
  • Support documentation, reporting, and action tracking as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in health & safety within construction and/or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulations and CDM
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Ability to work independently and influence at all levels
