You will grow trust & build alignment with stakeholders in Technology, Operations and Publishing. You will ensure authors return to Elsevier for the best experience from submission to trusted publication.ResponsibilitiesData-driven product development by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalizing of feature-, product-, and company-level metricsApplying data, including effective use of KPIs and OKRs, to drive commercial decisions and growth opportunities for the productDriving key end-to-end lifecycle components, from planning to releaseWorking with external product management to develop product vision and roadmap plan aligned with business strategy and communicates across all critical stakeholdersUsing knowledge of competitors to inform product decisions and roadmapsDefining and interpreting A/B tests that help answer critical questions about the impact of changes to our productClose collaboration with Data Science to explore and validate thoughtful application of ai solutions in the editorial workflowRequirements:Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with product managers, engineers, and executives alikeHave delivered products and/or services with data science needs and capabilitiesExperience contributing to commercialised features or products, from understanding user needs to conceptualization to execution to post-release management.Experience in a quantitative role navigating highly ambiguous environmentsHas been recognized as full owner of a product or sizable feature of a complex product.Is passionate about frequent product customer engagements that lead to positive commercial outcomes.Proposed, designed, and run rigorous experiments with clear insights and product recommendations utilizing SQL and PythonOwnership of development and careerWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
