- Manage the charity's network infrastructure and ICT based applications.
- Day to day management of all IT operations ensuring all requests are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Providing technical advice, training and support to staff to enable them to make effective use of systems.
- Manage ICT and systems contracts, ensuring they meet service level agreements and support management in raising any concerns or with renewals.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Ensure relevant policies and procedures are being applied and updated, reporting any significant risks.
- Manage Annual IT Budgets ensuring budgets are adhered to ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Creation of IT service reports as required.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to aid in the development of the Charity's IT strategy.
- Co-ordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems.
- Assist in executing IT changes effectively, taking into consideration the requirements of relevant departments across the charity. Provide training to staff if necessary.
- Anything else reasonably requested by the management of the charity.

- Ability to rapidly learn new systems and acquire knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a highly varied and unpredictable workload.
- Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team, with a talent for problem-solving and a pro-active approach to identifying opportunities to enhance the ICT services.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT Manager role.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out new IT systems.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Office 365 suite.
- Good working knowledge of cloud-based systems.
- Full UK driving licence as travel to other sites essential.
