With a focus on innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team and help drive our manufacturing operations to new heights.Job OverviewOur are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Extrusion plastics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management. This role requires excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while maximising efficiency.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations in the manufacturing facility
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance
  • Monitor and optimise production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve production issues
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Analyse production data and prepare reports for upper management
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in Plastic manufacturing.
Quality ControlMaintaining high-quality standards is crucial in our industry. Your responsibilities in this area will include:
  • Developing and enforcing quality control procedures throughout the production process
  • Conducting regular quality audits and inspections
  • Implementing corrective actions to address quality issues
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with the quality assurance team to continuously improve product quality
  • Managing customer feedback and complaints related to product quality
Team Leadership and DevelopmentAs a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing a team of up to 25 factory floor workers. with a hands on approach you will oversee the day to day operational side as well as the labour functionsHours of workMonday - Thursday - 7am- 4pmFriday - 6am - 12.30pmFor more information please contact the team at Recra.
