As a Maintenance Assistant you will be...Making your impactCarry out first line response to faults, blockages and issues on or around automated material handling equipmentCarry out tasks under limited supervision within approved guidelines and follow Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and method StatementsReceive and complete work orders within planned or reactive work assignmentsResolve faults / blockages / issues within agreed timescales to ensure service deliveryComply with Health & Safety legislation at all timesAssist the Maintenance Technician with daily maintenance tasks and help them resolve breakdownsRepresent the company in a professional manner and maintain customer relationsBe proactive to help with efficiency of the system and reduce breakdowns.Contributing to the teamBasic understanding of mechanical / electrical machinery is desirableExperience of working in a warehouse or automated environmentFair/Good IT skillsGood communication, numeracy and written skills and a strong customer focusStrong Health & Safety mindsetWillingness to work day shifts, night shifts & weekendsAbility to work with and compliment/contribute to a high performing teamInput ideas into the team to help make site and team improvements.Dematic is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
